Depression symptoms like restlessness and irritability are common in agitated depression. Most people who suffer from this sort of sadness do not feel drowsy or slow. This condition is commonly found in women and children who are in school life.
For instance, when a woman comes home after she worked for a whole day in her office, she might get irritated and feel this kind of depression known as agitated depression or a mixed feeling of sadness as she needs to do household work in the house further. The lack of someone with whom the depressed person could vent out their feelings and problems is also a key feature of this depression. The same condition applies in the case of parents and children who are studying. The students might feel already exhausted when they come home after their schooling time. The insistence of parents to study at home would cause such kind of depression in their minds.
Vent out your feelings with a person who listens to you and doesn’t either judge or advice
If you sense your level of irritation rising, talk to a trusted person about it. They could be able to defuse the situation. Venting actually works quite well in satiating our want to connect with others who can help us feel less alone in our experiences. By talking about our feelings, we have the chance to understand what is making us feel bad and prevent such sentiments in the future. Sometimes, simply expressing what’s upsetting us to someone else might help to clarify the problem and identify the associated feelings.
Talking to a trusted friend or family member about something upsetting may help:
• Investigate the issue yourself.
• To see the scenario clearly.
• Consider the issue from a fresh or alternative angle.
• Release any stress that has built up; doing so can give you a fresh perspective on the issue.
• Learn that you are not alone; you can discover that many other people experience the same things.
It can be challenging to express your feelings to others. You might be concerned that they won’t consider your feelings. You can be concerned about what would transpire if you share your problems with them as well.
That’s why the selection of a person is also an important step in this process, as the person you choose to vent out should be trustable and make you comfortable without advising or judging your matters.
Fall is often associated with colorful foliage, which is best seen during the day. But fall is also a season about transition, heading in for the long nights and bone-chilling cold.
